Guided Meditation For 20 Minutes Rest

Free Guided Meditation

This a 20 minute guided meditation for you to sit back, or lie down, and relax. Nothing fancy, no breathing techniques, no mantras, just close your eyes and drift off.

These types of relaxation sessions can be very helpful when you are stressed or anxious, or you simply need to get a twenty minute rest.

If you are experiencing difficulties in your life right now, it is possible to change the negative thoughts and emotions that may be stressing you. Simply relax,  let go and make space for new and positive thoughts and emotions to arise.

I just had a look on YouTube and there are about15000 guided meditation videos. Many of these videos are of excellent quality, many of them having be made by experts in the field of guided meditation audios and videos.

I am NOT an expert at guided meditations.

Let me explain.

You are born into a prison that consists of thoughts, feelings and a physical body. A fortunate few are born in a prison that consists of listening to one beautiful thought and emotion after another. Their life seems to be a joy. The very notion of stress, anxiety, depression or despair is alien to them.

However, most people are experiencing a life of a mental and emotional roller coaster. Guided meditations may help to make the prison a more comfortable experience, but it is still a prison.

I have experience of helping people get out of the prison. Not through beliefs. Not through visualization. Not through positive thinking. Not through breathing exercises or mantras. But through opening the third eye center, so that you can go on your own inner journey of self discovery, into realms that others only talk about.

You will discover for yourself, within yourself, the dimensions that exist within yourself, that are not confined by the prison of the mind, body and emotions. The process of opening your Third Eye has been talked about for thousands of years. It is real and it is possible and you can discover it for yourself.

It is a very well known phenomena, that long term inmates in prison will resist being set free, this is known as being ‘institutionalized’. The prisoner has become so used to the prison, that the thought of freedom actually frightens them.

As a teacher of meditation for over 20 years, it is my experience that most humans are institutionalized to the confines of their mind and emotions, their own prison. I am not criticizing them, I am simply making an observation.

If you feel you would like to know more about having your Third Eye opened, then get in touch with me at meditationclassathome@googlemail.com and please mark the subject; Initiation, so if it ends up in the spam, I won’t miss it.

At this point, I would normally list the immense benefits of going on a real spiritual journey. But the last time I wrote an article like this, I received several emails from people telling me I was being to ‘pushy’ or ‘salesman-like’.  I thought about those emails a lot…

Maybe I was too pushy. After all, I have worked in sales for nearly 30 years. The many Salesman Of The Year Awards that are hidden away in my garage, testify that I do know how to sell stuff. But this is bigger, much bigger than selling stuff.

Initiation is only for you if you are SERIOUS about discovering what you REALLY ARE.

Initiation is only for you if you are prepared to meditate every day on the INNER LIGHT AND SOUND.

Initiation will change your life PERMANENTLY, so it is not to thought of as just another meditation course.

To get Initiated you need to prepare yourself. This would involve you giving up eating meat, fish, drinking alcohol and taking recreational drugs.

Once Initiated, you will need help to discover and explore the vast regions that lie within you, and ultimately discover who and what you really are. Whoever helps you will have done the journey before you. They will help you and advise you. If the past is anything to go by, this person will not get paid for helping you, they are simply giving help, just as someone else gave them help.

As far as I know, there are people who can Initiate you in the UK, Europe, USA, India, Australia and Africa.

Healing Meditation? Be Careful

healing meditationHealing Meditation

There are many forms of meditation and many forms of healing, when you combine the two, ie; Healing Meditation, then you really can use energies that you access through certain meditation techniques for healing purposes.
But unlike many meditation teachers, I do not actively promote meditation healing techniques, at least not to new meditators. I do know several powerful healing meditation techniques, including the use of crystals and very powerful healing mantras.
However, bear this in mind, that the negative effects that the ‘patient’ is experiencing must go somewhere, and that is usually into the healer.
So, unless the meditator has protected themselves, using certain mantras, that they may, sooner or later, make themselves ill.

In fact, even when using powerful healing mantras, the continuous use of  healing meditation techniques is not recommended, because sooner or later you may get ill yourself.

Now, I do know, that having spoken to many ‘healers’ over the years, that a lot of them disagree with me on this. They say they can protect themselves from the negative effects of healing people with ill health. Fair enough.

I remember a few years ago, I had an occasion when I spoke to a girl in her twenties about healing.  She literally laughed at me, and told me that she had no problem at all in dealing with negative energies.  I thought, ‘Fair enough’, after all, people have the right to say and do whatever they like, as long as they do not harm anybody else.

Recently this girls name cropped up in a conversation, and I asked how she was doing. Sadly, I was told that she is suffering from some serious illness, which means that she now struggles to walk and has had to give up all her work.  Now I cannot say for certain that it was the healing that made her ill, but I did warn her, because I have personally made myself ill by doing too much healing in a short period of time.

As I mentioned earlier, there are several crystal healing techniques which I share with people who attend my Crystal Workshop. There is also a breathing technique that can be used for transferring healing energy to sick people. I demonstrate this healing meditation technique on my meditation membership site.

If you really are interested in meditation healing techniques, then you must be open to the idea that certain energies can be accessed through meditation. But, let me ask you a question. What is it that is creating these healing energies? In fact, what is it that is creating you right now? I am suggesting to you, that you can access the very source of all the energy within creation.  The very source that is creating you and I, the stars, the meditation healing energy, everything.  The access to this energy is given to you via an Initiation, which permanently opens your third eye chakra.

Get Initiated yourself and discover the energy for yourself.

Transcendental Meditation – What Does It Mean?

Transcendental MeditatioTranscendental Meditationn

You may have heard the term Transcendental Meditation before, but what does it actually mean? Well, depending on who you ask, depends on the answer you get. Plus, the answers you get are so vague, that you have to wonder if even the people who practice Transcendental Meditation know what it is.

But for the record, according to Wikipedia, Transcendental Meditation is; Transcendental Meditation (TM) refers to the Transcendental Meditation technique, a specific form of mantra meditation, and to the Transcendental Meditation movement, a spiritual movement. The TM technique and TM movement were introduced in India in the mid-1950s by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (1914–2008) and had reached global proportions by the 1960s.

Basically, some bloke called Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, did very well teaching this form of meditation to over six million people. Fair enough, but what is it? What is transcended? And possibly most important of all, is it of any use to you? To answer these questions, we need to use a bit of philosophy, but we can do it together.

I have a question for you, but first of all I would like you to sit still and breath meditate for a few minutes at your brow centre. Go on, close your eyes and do it now. Please do not read on. Then after a few minutes open your eyes, then read on…

Ok, now, being as still as you can, look at your hands, or your arms or legs or any part of your body. Now, do your arms have any knowledge of the ‘you’ that is looking at them? No, they do not.

Because your consciousness already transcends the physical plane. You are already a transcendental being. Also your emotions have no direct knowledge of your mind or body, and vice versa.

This is to say, that you are a collection of ‘centres’ that appear to be constantly moving, at varying speeds, across the physical, mental and emotional planes. Because you are in a state of continual movement, there is no peace. Because you cannot escape this continual movement, there is no freedom. And because you are using these centres as your very ‘identity’, you cannot know yourself, you cannot ‘find’ yourself, just as an eye cannot see itself.

This is not to say that Transcendental Meditation is no good. It has been proven to lower blood pressure, reduce stress, aid school children achieve excellent results and much more. Plus it was one of the first meditation techniques that I tried in the seventies.

I very quickly came to the end of my mantra. The TM organisation then offered me a siddhi program, which I didn’t bother with as I had already seen past their simple mantras, and seen through their very poor thinking and philosophy. And their willingness to be believe in any old stuff as long as it wasn’t Christian, Jewish or anything mainstream.

I wanted to discover who I was, what I was, where I was going to and basically, what’s the point of it all. They were unable to answer a single one of these questions. So I went to their UK headquarters, called The Age Of Enlightenment, based in Skelmersdale, UK, and asked to ,speak to somebody who was Enlightened, as I wanted to discover Enlightenment for myself. They said that there was nobody who was Enlightened there. That only the Guru was Enlightened and he lived in the States. I looked at this man’s blind acceptance of yet another man’s fairy story, I thanked him, and left.

You are already a transcendent being, but you are trapped in a physical, mental and emotional cage. Any thoughts of spirit, are just that, thoughts. They are not spirit. In the same way, you cannot think of money, then pay your rent with the money you just thought about, it just doesn’t work.

To discover spirit, you must discover spirit, through direct revelation at your brow centre. This is called Initiation. (Which I discovered, and is now available, if you are interested). There are several dimensions other than the gross physical, mental and emotional bodies. Experiences of these other dimensions are often called ‘spiritual’. It would be more accurate to call them astral or etheric experiences.

Spirit is infinite and has no edges. Because it has no edges you cannot feel it, experience it, or think about it. It is only possible to experience an edge.

If or when you get Initiated, your first ‘experience’ will be your current sense of self, seeing the inner light and hearing the inner sound of spirit.  In time, you will let go of the edges that define you, and you will dissolve into the one love that is everything.

Now, that sounds a bit more achievable, appealing and in fact, utterly glorious than transcendental meditation doesn’t it?

I have to thank Transcendental Meditation in a way.  It got me started on the road to meditation. It showed me the limits of certain meditation techniques, it showed me the sad desperation that people will cling to in order to make sense and give meaning to this life we have to live.

It also gave me a reflection, a mirror, an opportunity for me to step up and admit that I did not have the answers, that I may never find the answers, that I wasn’t going to accept someone else’s hopes and dreams as the benchmark for truth in my life. So I kept on looking.

I found a form of meditation that transcended the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body, the etheric body, the astral body, the atmic and the buddhic till I was final free – forever.  There are no more questions about the nature of myself, the nature of the universe or indeed, the nature of love.

Only one question remains, and that is to the nature of the ferryman, who took me from the confines of what I was, to the infinity that I now know I have always been.  My sincere love and gratitude goes out to the Spiritual Master which made this journey possible.

Kundalini Meditation Is So Misunderstood

There is so much misunderstanding about kundalini and kundalini meditation.
I read the following in Wikipedia:

Kundalini is described as a sleeping, dormant potential force in the human organism. It is one of the components of an esoteric description of the ‘subtle body’, which consists of nadis (energy channels), chakras (psychic centres), prana (subtle energy), and bindu (drops of essence). Kundalini is described as being coiled up at the base of the spine, usually within muladhara chakra. The image given is that of a serpent coiled three and a half times around a smokey grey lingam. Each coil is said to represent one of the three gunas, with the half coil signifying transcendence. Through kundalini meditation, and various esoteric practices, such as kundalini yoga, laya-yoga, and kriya yoga, the kundalini is awakened, and can rise up through the central nadi, called sushumna, that rises up inside or alongside the spine. The progress of kundalini through the different chakras leads to different levels of awakening and mystical experience, until the kundalini finally reaches the top of the head, Sahasrara chakra, producing an extremely profound mystical experience.

This is my personal view on kundalini meditation.

Kundalini  is the organising intelligence which allows you to physically live and breathe, and connects
your body with your aura, for the whole of your life.

In India, Kundalini is generally what people seek, and it has a whole mythology and “ritualistic ignorance” accompanying it, and this can be seen in symbols and images, of snakes being worn on the body of Gods. There is a whole iconography of alchemy being displayed, all over the religious texts accompanying Kundalini meditation, and its journey from the base of the spine to the head.

When kundalini is raised, it can stimulate the pineal gland and the pituitary gland into activity, stimulating the intellectual process’s and psychic process’s in the individual if they are able to raise it.

Kundalini meditation is not , but it is a million miles more ‘spiritual’ than religions, so people all over the world crave access to Kundalini. Some institutes in California have been set up to try and find kundalini in the body,  as science now believes it is what organizes the entire body-mind relationship.

Kundalini meditation is a massive subject, and people can have access to an energy system which millions in the world want to have raised within them.  There are many books on kundalini which have been written by different spiritual teachers. Some of these show a profound understanding of the body mind relationship.

Some Kundalini meditation courses in India cost about ten thousand dollars, which last for
several weeks.  But people do not get the actual energy raised at all, just breathing and dancing and chanting. Raising the kundalini through Kundalini meditation is very rare, that is why millions of Indians try for decades making sacrifices to raise this energy within them. Some, even starve themselves almost to death, hoping Lord Shiva will take pity on them and raise the energy, which from my perspective is sad, as there is a great deal of nonsense written about the energy by people who have never raised it.

There are a great many archetypes in the subconscious mind of the average person, which hold them back, and this creates low self-esteem, and Kundalini will help move this attitude away, so that is why raising the kundalini can help some people.

If you wish to attend a kundalini workshop, please get in touch with me.
