Why Meditate, Why Are You Meditating? Seriously…

Why Meditate

Why are you meditating?
Or, why are you at least interested in meditation?
What is it that you are really looking for?

If you are interested in meditation, for any reason, then you need to consider these very important questions.

You see, unlike almost all other activities,  meditation will dissolve you.
I will repeat that again.
Meditation will dissolve YOU.

You see, as you begin to meditate on finer and finer energies, your sense of self naturally assumes itself in these finer energies.
You become these finer and finer energies.

You become a finer and finer set of limits.

However, no set of limits in creation, ever created itself.
You did not create yourself,  therefore, the mystery of what you are remains.

The mystery of what created you, these finest of limits, remains.

To discover what you are, you need access to energy that is limitless,
and then meditate upon this energy.

Allow yourself to let go.
Allow the energy to dissolve you.

And discover that you are limitless.
Discover that your real essence has never, and could never be born, and you could never die, because you are never be trapped by the limits of creation.

These discoveries can be made by you.

In order to make the discoveries you will need to have your Third Eye opened. If this is of interest to you, then have a good look around this site.

If it is still of interest to you, then send me an email, with the word Initiation in the subject header. That way it wont end up in the spam box.

Going back to the necessity of you knowing why you are meditating.
If you understand from the outset, that meditation will take you on a journey into the unknown. The unknown is always unpredictable, therefore it is not in ‘your’ control.

Your inner journey, will at times, be amazing. It will reveal to you beauty beyond any description, it will reveal to you your most deepest, softest, tenderest nature.

It will even reveal a love… that just wont go away.
It stays with you.
It is you.

However, on this journey, just like any journey, there is a changing landscape. As you explore what you are, as you explore all the aspects, realms, expressions and forms of creation, you will witness the negative aspects, as well as the positive.

You may get downhearted, you may skip your meditation, and there may be times when you consider giving up on your meditation completely.

It is at this point that you MUST remind yourself why you started meditating. If you are going through a hard time, fair enough. But don’t give up on yourself. It’s just the ups and downs, the yin and yang, it’s just the crap in life. But don’t give up on yourself.

Remember now, why you started to meditate.

Have you  discovered who you really are?

Have you discovered what life really is?

Have you discovered within yourself, for yourself, a love that has
no beginning,
no ending,
and that it is your deepest self .

That is what can be discovered.
Within you.

So accept the bad times as much as the good.

Keep meditating, and as hard as it sometimes is,

keep smiling.

Spiritual Awakening, Does It Exist?

spiritual awakening
The words spiritual awakening is used a lot, especially by people who meditate. But what is a spiritual awakening? What do they mean? What are they trying to describe? What does the words ‘spiritual awakening’ mean? It would be fair to say, that the term implies that there is within you, a spirit, and that it is capable of awakening somehow.

To examine this, we first need to get a better idea of what we mean by ‘spirit’. For instance, do you think spirit has any edges? Do you think spirit can go to sleep? Do you think that spirit has an ‘age’? Do you think that spirit can move? Do you think that spirit has intention in it? Do you think that spirit is available to some people and not others? I know these might seem like difficult questions, but if we are to examine spiritual awakening, then we really do need to have some kind of an agreed idea on what we are talking about.

The problem is, because so few people explore their mind, body, emotions and aura, that when they have an experience which is ‘out of the norm’ to the general population, then the words ‘spiritual awakening’, or ‘spiritual experience’ or ‘spiritual movement’ are used.

I have meditated for over twenty years and I have made many personal discoveries about the nature of spirit. I am not asking you believe me, rather, I am inviting you to find out for yourself. I have discovered that spirit has no edges, it is infinite, and so it is impossible for spirit to awaken. Rather, it is possible for the meditator to let go, more and more into space and stillness, and for the limitations of the meditator to experience an expansion that they would call a spiritual awakening.

Ultimately I have discovered for myself, within myself, that it is possible to let go of the mind, the body, the emotions, the psychic body, the intuitive body and the other bodies that exist in the subtler regions of creation, and to discover for myself, that spirit does exist and that it is my real identity.

Spirit was never and could never be asleep, so it could never awaken. But I am saying to you, that it is possible for you to discover spirit for yourself, within yourself, using specific meditation techniques. Now, I am not asking you to believe me. Indeed, with so many people making all kinds of claims about what is a spiritual awakening, you would be a bit foolish to do so.

Practice the meditation techniques, enjoy the meditation, and you will begin to discover a deeper part of you. Then you can see for yourself the possibilities of you having your very own, personal spiritual awakening.

I realize that this is not the usual dogma that you will hear from those that teach spiritual meditation but it is how I have come to understand true spiritual awakening. My hope is that you find out for yourself.
